Covid-19 Updates

When we were allowed to reopen our training center back in June under the Phase 2 Safe Start Program, we were classified as an “indoor fitness/gym” business. (This was confirmed through personal correspondence with the King County Executive’s office.)

When we contacted the same office today, we were told to assume we are still in the same category; however, our contact will check again and let us know.

This means we will need to close our doors and postpone classes effective midnight, Monday, November 16. Our office will be contacting students via email and we’ll post updates here and on our Facebook page.

The status of Jerry and Lois Photography is unknown. We hope to have clarification from the County in the next day or so.

We truly appreciate your support.  For more information, here are links from the State and County.

June 11, 2020 COVID UPDATE

We have decided to wait and reopen/restart classes after the Fourth of July weekend. It’s too challenging for all of our students and staff to be on “standby” not knowing if King County will apply for Phase 2 next week or the following week or ???. This should give us time to truly get organized.

All of our current / pending home obedience, rally and scent work students will resume their classes starting Monday, July 6 through Sunday, July 12. Liz is busy in the office emailing everyone with this update.

Liz is also available for curbside purchases of equipment (make an appointment with her), phone questions, email questions.

Next week we’ll get our website updated with new classes that we’ve had to reschedule, including another round of online classes. And we’ll have special options for all of our online folks who are more than ready to attend in-person training.

Cross your fingers, everyone, that July 6 works out.

In the event King County enters Phase 2 earlier, we will use the time to restart performance classes with limited enrollment, PPE, etc.

For those of you who’ve been asking for private lessons for home obedience and behavior issues, we’re taking applications. We are allowed to do one student, one dog and one instructor at a time. Families are encouraged to video the lesson so the entire family understands the goals and techniques covered in the lesson. Click here for more info.
